Are there any known allergies to Platinum?

I am recently married and my entire wedding set is Platinum. Every once in a while, I get a blister type rash under the rings closest to my hand. I have to remove the rings and let the blister drain and the rash air dry for it to heal.

What could cause this besides a chemical reaction/allergy? What can I do about my wedding rings?

You have a really difficult problem.

I think it would be best if you consult with a Dermatologist in your area who may be able to do some patch testing with various metals to determine the exact diagnosis of your symptoms.

Maybe, just maybe, the rings are not totally platinum. They may have some traces of chromium or nickel in them??
