However, when it rains I feel a somewhat severe allergic reaction in my lungs and eyes and have been told that an onslaught of molds spores (to which I am allergic) is the cause. Is this true. It is true that just before it begins to rain there is an updraft current which elevates the mold spores that otherwise are found nearest to the ground. For this reason, many mold allergic patients will experience a flare of sinus headaches and nasal symptoms shortly before it rains. Hope this info is helpful to you. Good luck.
