Very Allergic to Milk and Beef

I have a son named Nico he is very Handi-Capped and he is very allergic to just about everything. My wife has a new Allergist who says that if he is allergic to milk that he shouldn't even eat any kind of beef. His allergy to milk is very serious to the point it is life threatening. We have had to rush him to the hospital many times because the slightest hint of milk although we try to read everything we give him could be deadly.

Is this true that he shouldn't have anything that has to do with beef.

SINCERELY

Thanks for asking about milk allergy and possible beef induced allergic reactions.

It is true that some milk sensitive patients do experience allergic reactions when exposed to beef products. The same allergenic proteins that are found in milk from cows may also be present in the meat from beef.

Nico should carry an adrenaline emergency kit with him where ever he goes just in case a milk containing food enters his mouth. [An Epi-Pen for example.]

I hope this information is useful to you and your family.

Good luck.
