Ozone Air Cleaners

Is there any evidence that ozone air cleaners or treatment (such as the Alpine Air Purification Systems) helps relieve or alleviate problems which cause activate allergy or sinus problems?

THANKS! for your knowledgable reply.

Thanks for asking, John, about ozone air cleaners.

I am unaware of anything in the published medical literature that would suggest that "ozone cleaners" or air purifiers can do anything but harm the allergy sufferer.

Ozone is a reactive and potentially harmful gas which is able to irritate the mucus linings of the airways, especially in those patients who are sufferring from uncontrolled allergy.

Air conditioning is the best air "treatment" for allergy homes, since it reduces indoor humidity and aeroallergen levels at the same time.

Hope this info helps.
Good luck.
